Nashville, TN: Our Annual Visit

We made it to Nashville again this year to visit our long time friends, the Sanderson's. As always we had a blast! We visited, ate, saw about 5 hoop games in one day, had SNOW (when it was 70 in Denver!). We even saw Faith Hill and Tim McGraw at one of the basketball games we went too. You'll see how big their boys are....hard to believe. Mark and I were caught off guard when we took all the kids to Waffle House. On our way there, Carter was driving, we both stopped in mid-sentence and said, "Can you believe we used to change this kids diapers?" I used to drive Carter all around...never thought he would one day be driving me. Blake and Garrett are the same age and were attached at the hip the whole time. Grant, Kendall's age hung with them too. Kendall found herself hanging with Clint and the dog Birdie. I honestly don't think Birdie's legs hit the floor for the entire 5 days we were there. That poor dog was dancing, waving, blowing kisses...probably glad to see us go. Can't wait until our next visit. The kids would like to go out this summer if possible. Otherwise next year we will hit Nashville twice; once in Feb for hoops and in May for Carter's graduation.

Cheer Central Suns Mini Division are STATE CHAMPIONS! Kendall and her team won first place and are Colorado State Champs. They are so excited. Check out the slide show of portions of their performance.

Cheer Central: Let's Go Suns!!!

Well Kendall just completed her first cheer competition with Cheer Central. We were in bed the night before at 8 pm to be able to wake up at 5:15 for hair and make-up. We were out of the house by 6:15 and in Denver by 7am. Kendall's team performed at 8:15 am and then we sat until 11am for the final results. Her team hit the entire routine and looked fantastic. Kendall was front and center with a grin that wouldn't quit. She had a blast. Here are a few photos of the event. My friend Heather has actual routine photos which I will post once I receive them.
Go Suns! We are proud of you Kendall!
