Savanah Outen and Carter

You may be wondering why I have a Savanah Outen video on my blog! You won't know who to look for since many do not know Carter. However, the kids we visited in Nashville--one of them (the oldest, Carter) is in this video. He happens to be the boy playing paper football in the back of the classroom. He is the one on the right. It was filmed at David Lipscomb in Nashville where the boys go to school. Carter has ended up staying in contact with Savanah which is crazy.

MARCH MADNESS

.........for baseball that is, not basketball. Blake had his first baseball tournament of the season this past weekend. His team has moved up a level and are now AAA or level 1. It was a AAA tournament but we were the only AAA team registered. There were 3 level 0 teams that registered, and played down, so that was our competition. BombSquad played outstanding and WON the tournament; even against the level 0's. The championship game was against a Longmont team that is a selective team of which you need to be invited to join. (also costs around $6000 a year to play on this team) We mercy ruled them in the 4th inning with a score of 14-4. Enjoy the photos as seen above.

Nashville, TN: Our Annual Visit

We made it to Nashville again this year to visit our long time friends, the Sanderson's. As always we had a blast! We visited, ate, saw about 5 hoop games in one day, had SNOW (when it was 70 in Denver!). We even saw Faith Hill and Tim McGraw at one of the basketball games we went too. You'll see how big their boys are....hard to believe. Mark and I were caught off guard when we took all the kids to Waffle House. On our way there, Carter was driving, we both stopped in mid-sentence and said, "Can you believe we used to change this kids diapers?" I used to drive Carter all around...never thought he would one day be driving me. Blake and Garrett are the same age and were attached at the hip the whole time. Grant, Kendall's age hung with them too. Kendall found herself hanging with Clint and the dog Birdie. I honestly don't think Birdie's legs hit the floor for the entire 5 days we were there. That poor dog was dancing, waving, blowing kisses...probably glad to see us go. Can't wait until our next visit. The kids would like to go out this summer if possible. Otherwise next year we will hit Nashville twice; once in Feb for hoops and in May for Carter's graduation.

Cheer Central Suns Mini Division are STATE CHAMPIONS! Kendall and her team won first place and are Colorado State Champs. They are so excited. Check out the slide show of portions of their performance.
